Project Engineer I

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree with a structural emphasis from an accredited university
  • Actively seeking or obtained EI/EIT licensure
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience (graduate education is applicable)
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

 

Duties

  • Perform engineering design and calculations
  • Produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Attend design coordination meetings
  • Review shop drawings and construction submittals
  • Conduct field observations of projects under construction

Growth Goals

  • Attain professional licensure upon obtaining necessary experience
  • Advance proficiency in Bentley RAM Structural Software, Enercalc, Adapt and other structural engineering design programs
  • Advance proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Advance proficiency in the design and detailing of structural systems including: light and heavy timber, structural steel, masonry, both mild and post-tensioned concrete, various foundation systems, cold-formed steel framing, and precast structures
